Sports cars can be quite expensive, so it’s important to set a budget before shopping. Keep in mind that many high-end models come with a hefty price tag, so be prepared to spend accordingly.

One of the main reasons people buy sports cars is for the performance they offer. If speed and handling are your top priorities, then be sure to choose a model that delivers in these areas.

Fuel Economy:

Many sports cars have poor fuel economy, so this is something else to consider before making your purchase. If you’re looking to save money at the pump, then opt for a more fuel-efficient model.

Safety is always a top concern when it comes to cars, so be sure to choose a sports car with good safety ratings. This will help ensure that you and your passengers are protected in the event of an accident.

Ford Mustang:

Ford Mustang is an American car manufactured by Ford. Mustang was originally based on the platform of the second-generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. The original 1962 Ford Mustang I two-seater concept car had evolved into the 1963 Mustang II four-seater concept car which Ford used to pretest how the public would take interest in the first production Mustang. The 1963 Mustang II concept car was designed with a variation of the production model’s front and rear-end styling. The most notable differences were that the production version had quarter glass, while the concept car did not. Also, the headlamps were recessed in NACA ducts on the concept car, which was not part of the production version.

The Mustang debuted on April 17, 1964, at the New York World’s Fair. It went on sale on September 9, 1964, for the 1965 model year and was introduced simultaneously across North America. Originally conceived as an entry-level model, it was initially priced at US$2,368, with estimated annual sales of 100,000.

The Mustang’s great success inspired other automotive manufacturers to develop similar vehicles. The Mustang’s platform and drivetrain were used on the Mercury Cougar, which debuted in 1967. As the Pinto was developed from the Falcon platform, it also shared commonality with the Mustang; both cars were built on Ford’s new “Fox” platform. The Mustang grew larger and heavier with each generation until mid-size models were introduced for the sixth generation in 2015. By 1978 when production ended in North America, over 3 million Mustangs had been built.

Today, the Mustang is available as a two-door coupe or convertible in a variety of trims and power levels. It is sold globally, with production facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, and the Philippines. As of 2019, the Mustang is the world’s best-selling sports coupe.
